Cargill AgHorizons and DKY Take Best of Show at NAMA

Cargill AgHorizons and Minneapolis-based advertising agency DKY took home the heralded Best of Show Award in Advertising at the 2014 Region III Best of NAMA Awards Banquet.

NAMA (National Agri-Marketing Association) honors the nation’s top agriculture communications in the annual Best of NAMA Awards program. The DKY campaign for Cargill ProPricing placed First in Multimedia Campaigns-National Category early in the evening, and then wrapped up the event by taking Best of Show in Advertising at the historic World Food Prize Hall of Laureates in Des Moines, Iowa.

“We’re very excited about the recognition,” said Tony Neuman, marketing communications manager for Cargill AgHorizons. “Our entire team contributed to this award-winning campaign and the results speak for themselves.”

Entries receiving a First or Merit Award in the Regional competitions are eligible to advance to the National competition. Those winners are set to be announced at the Best of NAMA Ceremony taking place during the 2015 Agri-Marketing Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, in April.

The NAMA awards follow additional honors for DKY and Cargill, including a MarCom Platinum Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals for the 2014 ProPricing campaign.
