Celebrating Our First Year Partnership with CLAAS

This fall we crossed the one-year mark in our journey with CLAAS of America – a leading ag equipment manufacturer based in Omaha. Reflecting on our young collaboration, we are grateful for the energy, trust, and shared vision that’s defined this new partnership.

When we first began our work with CLAAS, our goals were clear: build awareness and preference for the brand through a dynamic social media presence, amplified PR efforts, and meaningful connections with their audiences. What unfolded went far beyond the tactical—it became a true partnership, rooted in collaboration and mutual success.

PR: Telling Stories That Matter

From the assembly line to the fields, we worked together to spotlight the people and innovations that make CLAAS unique. The results speak for themselves:

  • 563 media placements that delivered 195 million impressions, surpassing our reach goals by over 400%.
  • Award-winning storytelling, with highlights including features on CLAAS’s 500,000th combine harvester and the 7th annual Davidson Prize for Ag Innovations.
  • A stellar ROI, proving once again the powerful role and impact that strategic PR can play in a marketer’s toolkit.

This success wasn’t just about numbers; it was about building trust, strategic storytelling and creating lasting impressions that resonated, whether celebrating milestone achievements or reaching audiences on a human level.

Social Media: Connecting With Ag Audiences

CLAAS’s social media footprint has also expanded and evolved in ways that continue to inspire us. Together, we:

  • Published an impressive 681 posts, including user-generated content that helped us tell CLAAS’s story in a more personal, authentic way.
  • Generated 118 million impressions and 725,000 engagements, achieving 151% of our engagement goal.
  • Grew the audience by 10,566 followers—111% of our goal.

Standout moments included posts like the KB Custom Ag Services video, which earned the highest engagement in three years, and the LEXION 8000-7000 Series animation, which became a fan favorite.

Events & Activation: Bringing CLAAS to Life

This year, we partnered with CLAAS HR to connect with the next generation of farmers during the FFA National Convention. Our Augmented Reality activation featured collectible cards that unlocked 3D models of CLAAS machines—a creative way to bridge technology and tradition. The response was incredible:

  •    Over 6,000 cards distributed.
  •    More than 1,500 QR code scans driving meaningful engagement.

Through digital platforms like Thumbstopper, we also helped optimize dealer content automation, ensuring CLAAS’s message resonated where it mattered most.

Giving Thanks

As the DKY team reflects on 2024 during this Thanksgiving week, it’s partnerships like CLAAS that inspire us to keep pushing boundaries and celebrating successes together.
