DKY is excited to announce the hiring of Kendall Bird to launch a new service offering in social media. As Social Media Manager, Kendall completes the agency’s integrated team in online marketing, joining practice leaders in content, interactive, and digital marketing.
Kendall is an award-winning practitioner and influencer in the Twin Cities’ social media community where she has been active for nearly a decade. Her skills include social media marketing, social customer care, loyalty marketing, influencer relations, and community building, along with training and development.
She joins DKY from seven years at Collegis Education, a strategic partner in higher education supporting colleges and universities, where she developed and managed social media and loyalty strategies. During her time at Collegis, her referral marketing strategy led to a 15% year-over-year increase in lead generation. She also led a team of 50+ individuals across the Midwest and Florida in social media community management and customer care. Prior to Collegis, Bird worked in internal communications for Life Time, and in social media community management at Mall of America.

She earned her B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul in 2010. She has earned numerous professional awards, is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and is a quoted expert in Search Engine Journal.
