If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to attend an event at a particular sports venue, you just might be able to read about it.
Joel Wilson, DKY Account Manager, is by all definitions a rabid sports fan. Name the sport, he’s a fan. Doesn’t matter which one. If it involves competition, he’s a fan. Table tennis? Yep. Cornhole? Yep. All the obvious ones? Of course.
For as long as Joel can remember, he was being carted to Wake Forest Demon Deacon events. Blame it on his alumni parents. They instilled in him the love of the game. Well, basically, all of them.
Over the years Joel has been fortunate to attend many sporting events. All different kinds and in all different venues. And that got him thinking that maybe he should start a blog. So he did.
Welcome to The Rambling Fan.
Joel decided to ramble about his various journeys exploring sporting venues. He’s had the privilege of attending a wide variety of events at college, amateur, and professional venues. From Cameron Indoor Stadium (home of the Duke Blue Devils) to the NCAA Final Four (hosted in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome) to Fenway Park (home of the Boston Red Sox) to Augusta National (home of the premier PGA Tour event, The Masters).
Joel is a communicator at heart. And now he’s able to communicate about his love of sports in a very personal way. He hopes others will like his blog enough to follow along and share it. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to attend an event at a particular sports venue, you just might be able to read about it. From one rabid fan’s perspective, that is.
