Road Trippin’ in Style

RV parked in neighborhood

While normally used for staff recreation, our Brave pulled double-duty this week, serving as a mobile office.

It’s a beautiful thing when you can use one client’s product (a 2015 Winnebago Brave) to go visit another client for a day of meetings. In this case, four of us loaded up plenty of snacks and beverages into the DKY motorhome on Monday morning shortly after our weekly staff meeting.

Armed with peanut butter pretzels, peanut M&Ms, chocolate covered mangoes and trail mix we hit the road for our 513 mile trek to Decatur, Illinois, to visit our friends at ADM. Of course laptops and a whiteboard came along with Post-it® notes so actual work could be done, too. Basically, it’s our mobile office.

Through rain bursts and considerably strong winds, we cut across Wisconsin and headed south into Illinois. Miles upon miles of beautiful farm land. Some of the richest, most fertile land on planet earth.

We finally made it to the hotel, ready to get a good night’s sleep for our day of meetings. (Yes, we could have slept in the parking lot in the RV. But c’mon, that’s a bit awkward wouldn’t you agree?)

We had a productive day of brand and marketing discussions. When the last meeting ended, it was a quick change of clothes and back on the road again for our return trip. More snacks and nappy time, all in the comfort of a sweet RV.
