When strategy, storytelling, and design align, the result can be a catalyst for impact.
That’s why DKY was honored to help Source MN, an urban non-profit helping at-risk people, shape the theme and visual inspiration for its 2025 Fall Gathering. The focus of this year’s annual event was to support women in crisis while highlighting the mission of Source’s urban outreach.
Held at the NET Center in West St. Paul, the event brought together a passionate community of supporters for an evening of food, fellowship, and forward vision. The night was anchored by stories of impact and hope, shared by Source’s leadership and staff, with a compelling ask to support a $950K goal to purchase and renovate a new Women’s Center.
Attendees heard moving testimonials and saw the tangible impact of Source’s outreach, from recovery programs to housing to anti-trafficking efforts.
DKY collaborated with Source to craft the theme Audacious: Harvest of Hope, a call to action reflecting the organization’s courageous vision to create a space of dignity, safety, and restoration. We brought this theme to life through a comprehensive suite of materials, including an event postcard, large-format posters, digital banners, and a donation leave-behind piece.
The colorful artwork was rooted in the bold, expressive spirit of Miami’s street-style graffiti and marked a dramatic evolution from previous year’s event materials. Inspired by this energetic aesthetic, DKY art director Preston Stevens used Adobe Firefly to explore and refine generative artwork until he landed on a mural-style composition that captured the vibrancy of Source MN’s newest initiative. The final design gave the event a visual voice as audacious as its vision.
