As we step into 2025, we’re excited to welcome three outstanding new client partnerships to our B2B practice. Each of these companies brings a strong legacy, a commitment to excellence, and a vision for growth that aligns perfectly with our expertise in brand marketing, advertising, and PR.

Bell Lumber & Pole: A Legacy of Strength and Service

Bell Lumber & Pole is a leading supplier of utility poles, telecom structures, and mass timber for vital infrastructure projects across North America. A family-owned company since 1909, Bell has built its reputation on a values-based approach that prioritizes quality, relationships, and service.

DKY is partnering with the Bell marketing team on several key initiatives, including brand strategy, website UX improvements, sales support and lead generation. DKY is also developing a new Voice of Customer program to gain deeper insights into evolving customer needs.

“Bell is a purpose-driven company with a big heart,” says Brian Dahl, DKY Partner and President. “The more we learn, the more grateful we are to work alongside their team and help them reach more customers with the Bell Way.”

Standard Iron: Building a Manufacturing Powerhouse

Another Minnesota-based manufacturing company with a deep legacy of service and success, Standard Iron engaged DKY in late 2024 to lead a critical brand strategy and activation initiative. With the backing of Texas-based private equity firm Owner Resource Group, Standard Iron is executing a strategic acquisition plan to build an integrated metal fabrication and manufacturing powerhouse.

With its first acquisition complete—Wisconsin-based hydraulic tank manufacturer Helgesen—Standard Iron is at a pivotal moment, requiring a clear, future-facing brand architecture and positioning strategy. DKY’s initial work includes qualitative research and brand strategy development in Q1, followed by a brand launch plan and activation in Q2 and beyond.

“Our experience supporting private equity roll-up businesses in the B2B sector made for a natural fit with Standard Iron’s team,” reflects Joe Peterson, DKY Partner and VP of Account Services. “From our very first meetings, we were on the same page with their leadership team. It’s very gratifying to join them on this journey.”

Wings Insurance: Aiming High for 40 Years

In 2025, Wings Insurance, a premier aviation insurance provider, will celebrate its 40th anniversary—and DKY is honored to be behind the scenes helping mark this milestone with a new brand identity, website, and marketing materials.

For DKY’s B2B VP and Account Director Tim Holmes, this partnership is a particularly meaningful one:

“As both a marketer and a private pilot, I appreciate the expertise and dedication Wings Insurance brings to the aviation industry,” says Holmes. “Partnering with them at their Flying Cloud Airport headquarters is an exciting opportunity to support an industry I’m deeply connected to.”

DKY is leading a full-scale brand refresh, including the logo and full design guidelines. Additionally, the DKY digital, marketing and PR teams are building out a launch plan, including an external launch event at AirVenture 2025 –a premier industry event in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in July.

Looking Ahead

A huge thank you to our new partners at Bell Lumber & Pole, Standard Iron, and Wings Insurance. We’re excited for the road ahead and grateful for the opportunity to help these companies build brands of great purpose and impact. Stay tuned for updates as we bring these initiatives to life in the months ahead.
