DKY recently took possession of a 2018 Winnebago Micro Minnie travel trailer. When it arrived, the staff couldn’t help but gather around to welcome this recreational vehicle (RV) to the agency.
Don’t you love the red?
As the flagship account for DKY since 1994, Winnebago Industries has expanded from its leadership in motorized RVs to include towable RVs. We were thrilled a few years ago to acquire a 2015 Winnebago Brave motorhome. This throwback, retro styled RV with its “mellow yellow” color was voted 2015 RV of the Year. Now, with our cherry red Micro Minnie, our staff can experience the towable side of the RV life as well.
Why the Micro Minnie?
Driving a motorized RV can be intimidating, even though our 26-foot Winnebago Brave was the shortest available floorplan at the time. But we want our staff to have an easier, smaller alternative. The Micro Minnie is 19-feet long and offers a fundamentally different experience. With a towable RV, you can disconnect your tow vehicle and leave your campsite. You can’t do that in a motorized RV.
Can I use it?
Yes, as long as you’re on the DKY staff. Sorry folks, due to insurance reasons we can’t add you onto our plan. But you can always go get your own Winnebago! Just tell them DKY sent you.
