DKY turned 22 years old today. I often find myself commenting on how fast time is passing now that I’ve hit a certain age. To help put 22 years into perspective, here are some fun factoids from 1994.

- Forrest Gump was the number one movie
- ER and Seinfeld were the most popular TV shows
- OJ Simpson took his infamous slow drive in a white Bronco
- Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men were topping the music charts
- Tonya Harding took exception with Nancy Kerrigan’s figure skating prowess
- The Dallas Cowboys were Super Bowl champions
- The Wonderbra was invented
- DKY opened its doors as a full-service marketing and advertising agency in Minneapolis
In many ways, Forrest Gump’s famous line eloquently sums up 22 years of the DKY adventure:
“My momma always said that life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.”
