The past few weeks were buzzing with DKY activity, and not just here in the office. Members of our staff were spread around the country meeting, greeting, and developing relationships.
Two of our destinations included NAMA’s 2015 Agri-Marketing Conference in Kansas City and the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville. Both gatherings were well-attended by industry experts and key players, and gave us the chance to enjoy some old-fashioned face time with new and existing DKY contacts.
The National Agri-Marketing Association’s conference in Kansas City anchored DKY’s micro tour of the Midwest. The conference featured keynotes by influencers in agriculture, marketing, and leadership, and was punctuated by a national-level awards ceremony. Brian Dahl and Mike Dobies made it the focal point of their multi-city trip which also included business in Illinois.
Meanwhile further to the east, our own Dan Domagala was busy at the Kentucky Expo Center representing several of our clients at the Mid-America Trucking Show. Billed as “the largest annual heavy-duty trucking industry event in the world,” the show attracts about 70,000 attendees with more than a thousand exhibitors from around the world.
Both of these are important events in our clients’ worlds—from agri-business to commercial trucking. Functions like these help shape the marketing landscapes in which we serve, and DKY is grateful for the opportunities to listen, learn, and contribute.
