Connecting with Farmers

Each year the Farm Progress Show allows agribusiness brands to connect with their farmer customers. As the nation’s largest outdoor farm event, the annual show alternates between Decatur, Illinois and Boone, Iowa. This year’s show was in Boone and DKY had a number of clients exhibiting – ADM, CLAAS, and Titan International.

If You Build It, They Will Come

DKY had the privilege of partnering with ADM to design and produce its immersive tent experience. This comfortable, air-conditioned exhibit offered an inviting space for attendees to relax and engage with ADM representatives ready to discuss a variety of services and programs. Key features of the tent included an installed floor, lounge area, an event stage with a giant, high-definition video wall, four lightbox stations staffed with ADM teams, and a private meeting space for media and government relations.

Premiering Season 4 of Faces of Food

On the opening morning of the show, ADM premiered Season 4 of the  award-winning Faces of Food film series. This season focuses on the Southeastern United States and features three producers from Georgia, Alabama and the Florida panhandle who raise everything from livestock to peanuts to sweet corn.

Emily Lacina, ADM Producer Marketing Manager, kicked off the premiere by conducting an on-stage interview with Emmanuel Bankston, a farmer himself and also an ADM Climate-Smart Origination Manager from Marianna, Florida, who is featured in one episode.

Outside the ADM tent, DKY created fence displays of the many farmers and ADM representatives who have appeared in Faces of Food. These posters lined two streets on the Farm Progress Show grounds.

Showcasing ADM Farmer Services

Many farmers come to the Farm Progress Show seeking ways to improve their farming operations. ADM addresses these needs by offering stage presentations covering various important and relevant topics. This year featured ADM professionals discussing opportunities in regenerative agriculture and innovative fertilizer products. In addition, the ADM Farm Direct Fertilizer team broadcasted their monthly market call live from the ADM stage.

So Much to See and Do

The Farm Progress Show is a unique mashup of a state fair, truck rally, and farm show with so many things to see and do. There are live field demonstrations of new ag equipment, interactive exhibits, all kinds of presentations, food vendors, and free giveaways.

Both young and old come every year to take in the sights and sounds. Hopefully they leave with some new info, products, or ideas to implement and grow their farming success.
